Class Descriptions

Boot Camp: A fun dynamic and intense workout that incorporates a variety of exercises & approaches. Equipment may include: a step bench (regular & exaggerated heights), bosu balls, hand weights, exercise balls, jump ropes, and more!!!!! This class will utilize a warm-up followed by alternating high intensity cardio and strength training exercises. Attention will be given to major muscle groups & always includes an abdominal workout and stretch. No two classes are alike!!! (All skill levels welcome) You do not have to be an expert to participate!!!

Step aerobics: This class offers the conditioned stepper a challenge. We will incorporate athletic movement patterns into combinations on the step and finish with some super core training. (Intermediate / advanced choreography)

Spinning: This class incorporates aerobic as well as anaerobic training using intervals & different rides for a motivating group cycling class.

Pilates: Pilates is one of the most challenging and effective means of building core strength and stability. This class focuses on toning and flexibility of the power house: the abdominals, back, and glute muscles, using various exercise movements, you will engage your inner / outer thighs, obliques, lower/middle/upper/abs, lower/upper back and glutes. This class is advanced in intensity yet easy enough to follow for any population.

Power Yoga: Relax after a long day and let your mind and body release away tension through a series of yoga stretches that utilize balance and flexibility. In this class you will focus on lengthening your muscles through challenging stretches and improve your balance to help prevent the effects of over training and fatigue from everyday workouts. Traditional yoga poses make this class welcoming for both beginners and those that are seasoned yoga participants.

Cardio Circuit: This class does it all! We bring out all the toys for a fast based high energy, heat pounding muscle-conditioning class!

Butts and Guts Cardio: Interval training with a focus on glutes and abdominals using a variety of equipment: Bosu, stability ball, medicine ball, step, and more. The pace may be slower, but the intensity is high. All levels Welcome!

Step N’ Sculpt: Maximize your metabolism with 30 minutes of cardio step choreography and 30 minutes of resistance muscle strengthening using balls, tubing, and weights. Abs and stretching included. Step N’ Sculpt is a multi level class. Beginners Welcome!

Kick combo: Come enjoy a fierce cardio kickboxing routine with high energy non-stop drills followed by target pads & some bosu for and intense hour of fun!!!!

Hip Hop Aerobics: The latest craze in group fitness that is sweeping the nation. … Delivered to you directly from the west coast from hip hop choreographer and former arts co. “Lose yourself” in today’s greatest hip hop hits while learning the latest moves in urban funk. Bring a friend and check your inhibitions at the door. This class is sure to make you smile while you sweat….. Focusing on rhythm, coordination, strength, endurance and fun!!!!!!! All fitness levels welcome.

Core and More: This is a low impact work out that incorporates pilates, yoga and bosu for a 50 minute full body conditioning experience.

Pilates with Props: Core strength, power and flexibility are the key to engaging your athletic performance as well as your body's appearance. Traditionally mat-at-work will be combined with the use of the stability ball, weighted ball and light weights to create a more intense core workout focusing on the abs and back while providing enough cardio to elevate your heart rate. This workout is packed with critical cutting edge routines to improve your core muscle definition.

Ball Blast: Blast your regular cardio work out to a new level of intensity. Experience an intense yet fun workout that combines athletic cardio sequences and plyometrics using the stability ball, bosu ball, medicine ball and weighted ball. Quickness, agility, reaction skills and multidirectional drills will be incorportated. Ball training improves spinal stabilization, trunk strength and body control. This class will take familiar movements used in traditional boot camp classes onto the various balls challenging your body to work at a higher fitness level.

Spin and Strength: This intense cardio workout provides 45 minutes of advanced spinning that combines traditional sprints, hills, jumps with longer durations of resistance climbs and alternating bursts of veried speed segments. The final 15 minutes of class challenge your upper body strength using different types of push ups along with abdominal exercies that will push your core to a new level.

Circuit Sensation with Bosu: Are you ready for a work out that is athletic, intense and more fun then a three ring circus? We will use balance challenges with simple cardio intensity for a sensational circuit work out.
